Dr Carl Jansz is Principal Doctor at Durrant Medical Clinic and has been caring for individuals and families in the Bayside area for over 30 years.
He is deeply committed to strengthening and supporting General Practice and has served as a board member of the Victoria Faculty Council of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) for more than a decade.
Dr Jansz is known for his calm, thoughtful, and patient-centred approach. He believes the best care comes from working together, communicating clearly, and respecting each person’s values and preferences. He takes the time to understand what matters most to you and supports shared decision-making at every stage of your care.

Dr Jansz also enjoys teaching and mentoring future doctors. He is involved in teaching University of Melbourne medical students and supervising GP registrars.
Outside the clinic, Dr Jansz enjoys time with his family and follows Aussie Rules and cricket.
