SD pic Dr Stephanie Demkiw (MBBS, B.Biomed Sci) graduated from Griffith University, Queensland in 2011. Dr Demkiw has worked in a number of Melbourne hospitals in a wide range of fields including Women’s Health and Obstetrics, General Surgery and Urology, Emergency Medicine, Oncology, Geriatrics and Palliative Care, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Intensive Care, Radiology and several surgical subspecialties such as Plastics, ENT and Cardiothoracics.

Dr Demkiw has a passion for preventative health and public health awareness and is currently working on a Masters Degree in the field.

In 2014 Dr Demkiw cofounded Australia’s first not-for-profit and awareness group solely dedicated to bladder cancer (Bladder Cancer Awareness Australia).

On weekends, Dr Demkiw keeps busy working as an Aussie Rules Football Club Doctor and spending time with her growing family. You may even see Stephanie on the ‘silver screen’ in 2018 performing surgery alongside Hollywood actor Logan Marshall-Green, in the new sci-fi movie ‘STEM’.

Dr Demkiw is available Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (rotating roster).
